I am an art nude model. So technically much (or any) wardrobe is not a necessity. And when I find myself flying from city to city for months on end, my clothing for the few moments when not shooting take up much of my space. So, I wish I could schlep far more things with me to shoots, but often I am limited unless I am taking one of my crazy road trips (which is actually coming up rather soon) and in general things which are new to me (albeit, they don't need to be new at all) are rather exciting. When photographers have wardrobe for me, I am ecstatic. With a bit of cloth, thigh highs, lingerie, a belt or two, costuming, or other miscelaneous clothing items, a wardrobe and creative look can be created. I challenge you to have on hand a few items for me to play dress up in.

Of course, fanciful wardrobe is always thrilling, too. Today I got to wear part of an old flight suit. That is tough to beat. :)

Siesta

Photographed by Terence Bogue
Melbourne, Australia - October 2010

I am "home" and ready to apply something I learned in Argentina to my day here in California. I shall now take my siesta, as it is the hour for this and I have been on the plane for 15 hours since I last touched Argentine soil.

And I return...

I am a person who sees the good in people and have continually had this belief confirmed. I met a woman at a hostel in Mendoza and ended up traveling to the mountains with her for a few days. I stayed in the home with a few people in Cordoba, and they lent me a tent, which allowed me to visit areas I would never have otherwise been able to visit. I decided trekking 8 km in the peak of the day was better than waiting a few hours for a bus, and by km 6, I was offered a ride.

People are good. So is life.

I am ready to add more art of the photographic variety to my life again.

Puertas

Photographed by Eric Hiss
San Francisco, CA - Winter 2010
Doors are made to be opened.
Windows to be peered through.
Lives to be known.
To be lived.
To be learned.
I am still in Argentina. Days are filled with much solo exploring, nights filled with cerveza, fernet, and chatting in Spanish.
Keeping me grouned is the planning process for my return to the US and my art modeling travels. (Yes, I am coming back.) I am in the process of booking my 2011 schedule. I hope to see you all this year.

Feliz Navidad

Photographed by Brian Sullivan
San Francisco, CA - November 2010

Feliz Navidad! Merry Christmas!

I am celebrating Christmas tonight the true Argentinian way - the family way. My experience at the farm was not all golden (I came to feel very much like an underpaid (room and food only) foreign worker - puts a bit of perspect on things), and am now back with my brother's Argentinian family to celebrate Christmas. In a few days I will be embarking on more solo adventures as I make my way from one area of Argentina up to Iguazu Falls for New Years.

Queseria

Hola!
Estoy en Argentina ahora. Estuve haciendo queso por una semana a una granja organica. Este es no vacacion, pero es una experiencia nueva.

Hello friends!
I am now in Argentina (I am sure you guessed as much, or hoped as much). In the quest to gain new experiences, I have immersed myself in Spanish and a natural life, living at an organic farm and making cheese. With a call time of 5 thirty in the morning, I will be well prepared for any morning shoots I get to do when back in the states.

Time to think in Spanish!
